Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis occurs when one vertebra moves relative to the vertebra below it. The most frequent cause of spondylolisthesis in middle aged adults is degenerative.
Patients with nerve pain associated with spondylolisthesis generally require surgery as spontaneous improvement is unlikely.
